Manufacturer: S.G. Brown Ltd. (London). The loudspeaker horn is made of wood (mahogany) and the body is made of aluminium, according to my online research. The base is made of wood and stainless steel. It is very rare to find today a wooden loudspeaker horn in such good condition: a few slight marks, one chip on the upper left edge of the horn (photo 9) and one on the right side (photo 10), which do not detract from the charm and brilliance of this loudspeaker. The device is functional: it has been tested by a radio repairer and the found value is still 4000 ohms, as shown on the base. It is missing the small metal bird that was originally screwed on the ball, but as it is today, it remains a magnificent item, worthy of use with an exceptional tube radio or as a display piece in a beautiful interior.
