Francesco Moser (Palù di Giovo, Trente, 19 June 1951) is a former Italian cyclist and won 273 road competitions, which have made him, after Eddy Merckx (445) and Rik Van Looy (379), the third most winning cyclist ever. He also won 15 six-day competitions in 35 starts, of which 9 with René Pijnen

He is the youngest of four cycling brothers. His eldest brother Aldo for 1 day cycled in the pink jersey in the Giro d'Italia of 1971. Francesco Moser won a big round in his career: the Giro in 1984 and also three of the five major cycling classics, including three times Paris-Roubaix. Moser was an imposing complete cyclist, but because of his size he was not a great climber. In the Tour of Italy he also won the Points classification four times (1976, 1977, 1978 and 1982). A record he shares with his compatriot Giuseppe Saronni.

Location: Geraardsbergen, Belgium.
