Cortebert Watch Co. - Swiss watch company In 1865 the manufactory Raiguel Juillard et Cie. (later renamed as Cortébert Watch & Co) was founded in Cortébert. In 1790, Adam-Louis Juillard (1758-1831) founded a company for the production of ebauche movements in Sonvilier. With the move to Cortébert in 1876, the company named itself after its location "Cortébert Watch Co.". From 1890 onwards they manufactured complete pocket watches and later also watch straps. Beautiful burnished pocket watch with interesting early so-called mechanical digital display. Enamel white dial with fine painted flower embellishment. Small second hand under the mechanical digital display - first display is the hour display with Arabic numerals - Second display is the minute display in two boxes. Signed Cortebert mfg Co.
