What I am offering here is a beautiful kilim in very good condition. It was hand-woven according to century-old traditions, originally for domestic use by and for nomads. A Persian kilim generally is a colourful carpet that is decorated with regional patterns to which the nomads are inspired by nature and their daily lives. The material consists mostly of sheep wool and is coloured using plant dyes. A kilim becomes more and more interesting and beautiful through years of daily use and can become a life-long companion due to its sturdy and long-living nature.
Dimensions without fringe are: 291 x 96 cm.
