Like Val-Saint-Lambert glassworks in Liège and Scailmont in Manage, Doyen glassworks in Havré ranked among the jewels of internationally renowned Belgian glassware in 1930.
This vase was produced using the technique of double casting to create more densely coloured vertical strips, known as Venetian ribbons. The colours in vogue at the time were amber, amethyst, turquoise and smoke colour (almost black). These shades vary in intensity according the production, from more transparent to denser. Part of the original label sticker is visible (close up “Floralie”).
In perfect condition (the bubbles are due to the manufacturing process).
Will be packed with tremendous care.
