further information:
The hadrosaurus is also called duckbill-saurus because the flat skull is formed like a duckbill. He had hundreds of teeth and large cheek pouches, with which he could crush its food (seed capsules and pinetree twigs). This herbivorous saurian reached a length of approx. 9 metres and a weight of 5 tons.

The saurian eggs were found in desert areas in proper nests, which points to an intensive breeding and nest care. They built from mud and related plant parts to cover the clutch and keep it warm. It is not known whether they bred. It is probable that many dinosaurs built breeding colonies together, which they kept for longer periods of time.

There was an active trade with authentic dinosaur eggs until about 8 years ago, which was banned due to stricter export regulations. Now you can only find a few on the market.
